English, Grade 12, University (ENG4U). Students will analyse a range of challenging literary texts from various periods, countries, and cultures; interpret and evaluate informational and graphic texts; and create oral, written, and media texts in a variety of forms.
Grading
-The final grade is based on performance in three areas: products, observations and conversations.
-70% of the grade is based on evaluations conducted throughout the course (conversations, participation, group activities, oral presentations, homework assignments, grammar quizzes, class tests and unit tests).
-30% is based on a final evaluation (Midterm and Final test).
