Enrollment Options
Part-Time Students
Part-time enrollment is best for students who are:
- Currently enrolled at another school and taking 1–2 additional courses with Everest.
- Looking to upgrade course marks (while still in school or post-graduation).
- Studying abroad and want to take selected Canadian OSSD courses.
Requirements & Documents for Part-Time Students
Must be currently enrolled in another school (Ontario or international), OR upgrading after graduation.
Documents Needed
- Government-issued photo ID (e.g., passport, driver’s license, health card).
- Most recent transcript or report card.
- Permission form from the home school (Ontario students only) to ensure credit transfer.
Full-Time Students
Full-time enrollment is for students who want to complete all credits and graduate with an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) from Everest Academy Centre.
Requirements & Documents for Full-Time Students
- Must withdraw from any current Ontario day school (if applicable).
- Must register for at least 4 credits per academic year with Everest.
Must complete at least 4 credits at the graduating grade level with Everest to be eligible for the OSSD.
Documents Needed
- Government-issued photo ID (passport for international students).
- Complete academic transcript (including any post-secondary records, if applicable).
- Proof of withdrawal from another Ontario school (if transferring).
- For international students: official transcripts translated into English (if needed).
Mature Students (Adults)
Everest Academy also supports adult learners who want to:
- Earn their OSSD.
- Upgrade marks for post-secondary admission.
- Take prerequisite courses for a career or academic pathway change.
Mature Student Criteria
- Not currently enrolled in a high school.
- Have not attended high school for at least one year since turning 18.
Criteria, Requirements & Documents for Mature Students
- Government-issued photo ID (e.g., a copy of your passport, driver’s license, health card, or other government-issue photo ID)
- Most recent transcript or post-secondary record.
International Students
Everest Academy welcomes students worldwide. International learners can:
- Take Canadian high school courses fully online, without a study permit.
- Earn credits toward the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD).
- Graduate with a Canadian diploma recognized by universities globally.
Requirements & Documents for International Students
- Passport or government-issued ID.
- Official transcripts (with certified English translation, if applicable).
- Take our English Placement Test and Math Placement Test, if applicable.
Course Selection & Fees
When registering, international students must indicate the courses they wish to take. To complete enrollment, please visit the Registration & Admission Fees section under the Courses menu and add to your cart the corresponding number of courses using the “International Students – Single Course Fee” option.
